Volkswagen Group Components offers several high-performance electric motors as featured in our popular ID Models. Applications as AWD, rear-, or front-drive are possible with peak power 120 - 210kW (rear) and 80 - 160kW (front).

The wide application within Volkswagen Group brands, resulting volume and the cost-optimized battery design allow us to offer attractive prices directly to our platform customers.
A major advantage of our battery system is scalability: 8, 9 or even 13 battery modules are possible, resulting in capacities from 48 – 91kWH and vehicle driving ranges from 330 to 700km (WLTP).

The VW Steering Development acts as a full system provider for electromechanical steering systems. This enables development services from the first prototype to the ready-to-install steering system from our series systems.
With in-house software functionalities, our steering systems offer not only excellent steering feel but also the basis for the use of current and future driver assistance systems.
Gravity die casting, die casting or casting simulations - since 1996, more than 100 million components have been produced in the VW foundry in Poznań.
Cylinder heads, front axle carriers and steering gear housings are among the core competencies of the plant, which is now one of the most modern and largest of its kind in Europe. The foundry supplies internal and external customers and casts according to the latest Volkswagen and industry standards.
